20 August: 2nd Annual Best Legs In A Kilt Contest, FLANAGAN's Celtic Corner
We'll be hosting our 2nd Best Legs In A Kilt contest in front of the shop. If you'd like to participate it is FREE, but you must be wearing a Kilt. You may register at any time up until 6pm on the 20th of August. The contest will begin at 7pm. Music prior to the contest will be provided by the 7-Pipers, Tucson's famous Pipe and Drum Band, and by Scott Ellis on the Bagpipes - Last Year's Winner! 8 Mar - Irish Stew Cook-Off - Come sample Irish Stew, Corned Beef, Soda Bread, and Desserts at the Maynard’s Market patio in the Historic Train Depot from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. You can enter the contest yourself or cast your vote for the Best Irish Treats in Tucson!

28 Feb - Irish Story Telling - The Irish have always been known for having "the gift". Join us as invited storytellers tell tales of life experiences with their own personal creativity. 1-31 Dec: - DecemberFest Downtown - This month long event will feature a series of special holiday displays in Downtown storefronts. Some Merchant storefront windows will be decorated by area students with contests and judging by members of the general public. Holiday Caroling will take place at various downton locations during several December evenings. http://www.downtowntucson.org

13 Dec: - 14th annual Tucson Downtown Parade of Lights and Festival - This year the parade passes in front of the store and we’ll be here to help celebrate the festivities.
